CCC-Aberdeen: Aviation Meeting. Windfarm Debate, Minutes

Hello All,
Just a quick update on recent events that CCC-Aberdeen are involved with.

1. The CCC-Aberdeen Held a meeting on The Expansion of Aberdeen airport. Although the event was affected somewhat by some rediculously severe snow storms it went ahead in a very posotive manner and even CCC-Aberdeen got some new supporters. A short report from the event is here.

2. The North East Mountain Trust are Holding a debate about wind power, increasingly there is an awareness amongst mountaineers that we are responsible for the decreasing winter snow, hence potential for ice climbing, and that the visual disturbance of wind power may be a worthy trade-off for protecting the planet.
